The story behind the standard

For 25 years, Jeannine Bryan ran operations for the City of Toronto: training teams, fixing systems and making sure the details worked. Alongside that career, she was DJing — from community celebrations to corporate rooms and some of Canada’s biggest events.
DJ JJ Rock has worked the JUNO Awards annually since 2022, DJed TIFF events and performed at Soho House. She also opened for Dragonette at the City of Toronto’s Annual Cavalcade of Lights. She built that DJ career while holding down a full-time city job.
In October 2025, she left the City to focus on the business she had built. JJ Rock Entertainment Group brings those two worlds together: the energy of a great event and the preparation that makes it run smoothly.
